Investment Services Intern

As an investment services intern, you will work closely with analysts and associates across various fast paced, high-impact projects. This dual role offers a firsthand experience into the use of artificial intelligence and access to live financial markets.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive research into financial transactions, encompassing but not limited to Mergers and Acquisitions, Leveraged Buyouts, and Initial Public Offerings. Sector coverage will include, but is not limited to, private equity, capital markets, and investment banking.

• Model various financial scenarios through detailed research.

• Collect and analyse financial data, presenting actionable insights to guide decision-making.

• Provide support in the backtesting of both new and established trading strategies to enhance current portfolio performance.

• Assist the team with daily operational tasks.

Requirements:

• Possesses familiarity with financial markets, investment strategies, and economic indicators.

• Demonstrates a highly analytical mindset with experience in data analysis, business strategy, and research.

• Proficiency in programming languages (such as Python, R, or MATLAB) and Artificial Intelligence skills (Prompt Engineering or Machine Learning) are desirable but not required.

• Exhibits exceptional communication and writing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

• Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where daily responsibilities are varied.

• Is either currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program or has graduated within the last year. Degrees in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering are preferred, but not mandatory.
